The restrictions imposed during the pandemic mean we're unable to put on our Spring Half Marathon event this year. Rather than sit back and complain, we've decided to stage an alternative event called the Forest Fool Half Marathon. This is a virtual event to give runners the chance to celebrate spring with a challenge and at the same time raise money for charity.
The aim is for people to sign up and then choose when and where they take part. Whether their chosen half marathon route consists of a run on their favourite training patch, a walk around a local park or simply a jog on a treadmill at home. the choice is theirs. All we ask is that they obey the current regulations regarding COVID 19 and respect other people whilst participating.
Details of prices and how to register can be found on the event website which can be reached via the following link:
Submitted finish times will be posted to the event website and all finishers have the option to receive a finisher's medal with ribbon to mark their achievement!
