Lydney Town Hall Trust

During the Pandemic lockdown, the volunteers were able to carry out much needed repair and renovation work. We were pleased to provide £800 towards the work in the bar area and toilets.

Built in 1889 the Town Hall continues to play a vital part in the town’s community and offers a large stage with dressing rooms and lighting facilities, in addition to office space.

Used as a venue for theatrical productions, wedding receptions and private parties, as well as public exhibitions. Serving as a hospital during the First World War older Lydney residents will always claim they were there when the Beatles played there in the early 1960s.
