Great Oaks Hospice donation
The IT systems at the Great Oaks Hospice in Coleford will now be brought into the 21st century thanks to a recent donation from the Rotary Club of the Royal Forest of Dean.
The club's donation of £4,500 (shown being presented by Club President Tony Hughes and Rotarian Chris Coleman to the Hospice's Chief Executive John Aizlewood and its Chair Sue Williams) will be used to replace the current manual system used by the nursing staff with laptops and netbooks for accessing patient records, resulting in a more efficient and integrated system that links with local GPs and the NHS.
