Newnham St Peter's Library

On 9 October, SVP Sherry Philips and Rtn. John Belcher attended the opening of the new library at Newnham St. Peter's School. This new reading space is clean and bright and will encourage pupils to pick up a book and discover new things.

In her request of March 2023, Emily Hughes of Newnham St. Peter's School PTFA told us that they were seeking funding to refurbish their school library and to renew their book collection. Their current library was situated in a corridor and the books have become tired and outdated. They aimed to create a welcoming library that encourages curiosity and innovation, a space for deep thinking and lively discussion, a space that provides access to information and knowledge.

We loved the idea and were very happy to contribute to this important project in the Forest of Dean.
